Dear Parents and Students,

As a reminder…

Fenwick will return to full capacity, five days per week with no e-learning options for this school year.

Vaccination and Mask Requirements:
  • As of today, Fenwick will not require that all students, faculty and staff be fully vaccinated.
  • As of today, Fenwick will not require fully vaccinated students, faculty and staff to wear masks.
  • Non-vaccinated students, faculty and staff are required to wear masks indoors.
  • Anyone at any time is welcome to wear a mask.
  • Any unvaccinated community member who comes in close contact with a positive case is subject to quarantine requirements.
  • The Village of Oak Park Public Health Department has stated that if Fenwick can demonstrate that at least 70% of our community is fully vaccinated, mask guidelines or mandates may be relaxed.
  • Therefore, there is great incentive to offer proof of vaccination –
  • Collectively, to reach 70% and potentially avoid mask requirements/mandates.
  • Individually, to avoid quarantine requirements.
As of this morning, a total of 550 Fenwick students, faculty and staff have notified the nurses that they have been vaccinated.  That is well below 50% of a total school population of approximately 1260.  Nearly all faculty and staff are vaccinated and about 1/3 of students report being vaccinated.  If you have been vaccinated, please inform the nurses per the instructions below.
Parents, if your daughter or son has received the COVID-19 vaccine, please upload the student's CDC card or an immunization record from their doctor as soon as possible to the Magnus system or email it to healthoffice@fenwickfriars.com.
