The DISC, TRIO, GEAR UP, and Honor Bound are excited to partner with the Outdoor Recreation Program for a XC Ski and Snowshoe day on March 2nd. Spaces are limited and invitation is required to RSVP. Transportation and lunch will be provided.
All TRIO Scholars who want to go on this trip MUST attend either the Provost Luncheon on February 27th or the Service Day on February 29th

McNair Scholars Applications Open! |
The MSU McNair Scholars Program is seeking undergraduate students who are low income and first generation or are from underrepresented minority groups to be part of the 2024-2025 cohort. The Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program is a federally funded, prestigious graduate school preparation program that provides paid summer research opportunities, tutoring, graduate school preparation workshops, and funding to attend a national conference. We are seeking student who have completed at least 60 credits, who have a 2.75+ GPA, are U.S. citizens, and have a strong desire to attend graduate school. First-Generation Graduation Celebration |
The First-Generation Committee is very excited to announce the inaugural First-Generation Graduation Celebration this spring on May 2, 2024 from 4pm – 6pm! This celebration’s purpose is to celebrate first-generation students who will be graduating in the spring, summer, or fall of 2024. All First-Gen graduates who sign up will receive a blue and silver graduation cord to be worn at University Commencement.
If you are a first-gen student who is graduating in the fall, summer, or spring of this year and are interested in being celebrated at the First-Generation Graduation Celebration, please sign up on the first-gen website.
If you are unable to attend, but still want the cord, please still RSVP and note that you will not be able to attend the ceremony.
