Fund for Education Abroad Spring 2021 Scholarship
Apply by September 16.
FEA invests in promising students with financial need who wish to study abroad. Spring 2021 scholarships range from $1,250 – $5,000 and can be applied for programs that run for at least 28 days. Due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, FEA will offer deferrable scholarships. Learn more & contact ONIF for application support.

All or Multiple Disciplines
The Charles B. Rangel Program- Deadline: October 14. Seeks to attract and prepare outstanding young people for careers as diplomats in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State. The program seeks individuals interested in helping to shape a freer, more secure, and prosperous world through formulating, representing, and implementing U.S. foreign policy. These fellowships help finance two-year graduate programs, provide two summer internships (one on Capitol Hill and one with a US embassy abroad), mentoring from a Foreign Service Officer, and other professional development activities. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
Scholarship America Dream Award- Deadline: October 15. Scholarship America’s Dream Award scholarships of $5,000-$15,000 will be awarded to undergraduate students selected from across the nation. The scholarships will be renewable and growing in amount each year, allowing students to receive aid throughout their college career. Open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and DACA students.
The Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship Program-Deadline: October 21. Attracts and prepares outstanding young people for Foreign Service careers in the U.S. Department of State. It welcomes the application of members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the State Department, women, and those with financial need. The fellowship helps finance two-year graduate programs, provides two summer internships (both at US embassies abroad), offers mentoring from a Foreign Service Officer, and provides other professional development activities. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
Pre-Doctoral Fellowship Initiative at Princeton University- Deadline: Early November (varies by graduate program admission deadlines). The pre-doctoral fellowship is a one year, fully funded fellowship that includes an offer of regular admission to the sponsoring doctoral program the following year. The fellowship is intended for students who would benefit from an additional year of training before formally entering the sponsoring department’s Ph.D. program. Members of groups who contribute to the University’s diversity—including members of groups that have been historically and are presently underrepresented in the United States (e.g., racial and ethnic minorities, individuals from first generation/low income backgrounds, etc.) and those who have made active contributions to enhancing access, diversity, and inclusion in the sponsoring department's field—are especially encouraged to apply.
The Academy- Deadline: November 1. The Heritage Foundation’s acclaimed Young Leaders Program proudly announces the launch of The Academy, an online program for rising leaders! The Academy has been crafted to educate students, young professionals, and civic leaders on the foundational principles of American political thought and the important policy debates facing our country. This 12-week program is designed to increase your leadership capabilities and to help you engage more meaningfully in your communities and more confidently in policy debates.

Pulitzer Center Teacher Fellowship- Deadline: September 7! How can engagement with under-reported global news stories support existing curricula, while also preparing students to engage curiously, critically, and empathetically with the world?
