5 Reasons the Phoenix Center is Giving Thanks!
Dear Friend,
You are my hero!
You make miracles happen. Because of your generosity, any chi
ld in need can receive
life-changing mental health care at the Phoenix Center. P
ositive outcomes, health and
healing are possible for all children with the right intensi
ve, high-quality care.
As I received your generous gift, I thought of Andrew.* Andr
ew
s biological mother
struggled with substance abuse and frequently left her childre
n without care.
After
being placed in foster care, 4-year-old Andrew entered t
he Phoenix Center with
symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Andrew found the in
tensive help he
needed at the Phoenix Center through individual counseling, ther
apeutic groups, and
our therapeutic camp programs. In addition, his foster paren
ts found the support and
trauma-informed parenting skills they needed to meet his comple
x needs. Today, he
has been adopted, is thriving, and has a profoundly different
life trajectory
...
forever.
Because of your generous donation, stories like this happen every
day at the Phoenix
Center.
Because of you
,
Andrew was able to get the help he needed
more than once a
week
despite his fami
ly
s inability to pay for the specialized care we provide at the
Phoenix Center. Because of you, we are able to offer in
tensive, professional care to all
children and families in need
.
No child is ever turned away due to inability to pay
.
This is critical in an area with child abuse rates
2 times higher
than the state average.
Thank you for making this life-changing work possible. We ar
e deeply grateful
fo
r your recent contribution of $1,000.00.
Your gift provides a launching pad for
health and a catalyst for transformation that will impact
future generations.
As we enter this time of Thanksgiving, I am deeply grateful
for your support, and we
wish you a Thanksgiving full of gratitude.
In thanksgiving,
