VBS Planning Meeting
Thursday, March 3rd
Everyone interested in helping us create an Olympic Vacation Bible School for 2016 is invited to join us in the Bridges classroom at 6:00 pm. Help us create a VBS that will win the gold!

Our 2016 confirmands have issued this challenge: "Will you and your family shop together to fill a bucket with these supplies (click for the shopping list) and bring it back to the church by Palm Sunday?" (March 20th) Imagine, not only will our children be waving palm branches that day, but families will be bringing in disaster buckets as we sing "Hosanna". What a powerful way to honor Jesus on that day!
Help us meet our goal of helping at least 50 families through UMCOR , who will deliver buckets of cleaning supplies right to the doorstep of people who have just experienced a natural disaster.

We had a great group of Parkway Hills volunteers at East Flora Elementary School today for Read Across America Day! It didn't take much time, but it left a powerful impression on both the students AND the readers. A big thank you to all who participated, and to Allison Jordan who coordinated the event.

The next event at East Flora Elementary is our Seasonal Book, Craft & Snack Program, scheduled for Friday, March 18th at 1:00 pm.
