COLT routes expand to Johnstown |
City of Loveland Transit (COLT) recently launched expanded service with three new bus stops in the Town of Johnstown near the Johnstown Plaza Shopping Center.
The stops are located at Ronald Reagan Boulevard and Thompson Parkway, Trade Street and Ronald Reagan Boulevard, and Union Street and Larimer Parkway.

City of Loveland to implement payment card service fee
|
Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, the City of Loveland will implement a 2.85% service fee on credit and debit card transactions to offset processing costs incurred when customers use cards to pay for various City products, programs, and services. This change aligns Loveland with industry standards and reflects a common practice among Colorado municipalities.

The City of Loveland Utilities Department is proud to provide our City with not-for-profit and community-led electric, water, wastewater and broadband services. Our team is on-call 24/7/365 to ensure Loveland’s residents and businesses can count on reliable, cost-effective and high-quality utility services. In 2025, we continued our long and proud tradition of utility service to the Loveland community. While our team is mostly working behind the scenes, you can see the results of that hard work in every home and business, all-day, everyday.

Volunteer with Open Lands and Trails 🌳 |
Thursday, Feb. 5, from 5 – 7 p.m.
Chilson Recreation/Senior Center (700 E. Fourth St.)
This drop-in style open house event will offer opportunities to learn about the many ways you can volunteer with Open Lands & Trails. Prospective volunteers can visit multiple stations for information and chat with active volunteers and staff members about the three "tracks" of volunteer opportunities: environmental education, stewardship, and public outreach.
