Come to a workshop hosted by the GWC and GPS to learn more about the process of writing the dissertation: where to begin, how to establish helpful writing habits, tools that other writers have found helpful, practical tips for organizing and revising, and more. You'll hear from several speakers who have gone before you in this journey, and then we'll open up the floor for questions from participants. Register here.

How should Christians think about liberal education? This spring, Christian Scholars Forum is hosting a reading & discussion on C. S. Lewis's The Abolition of Man and Josef Pieper's Leisure: The Basis of Culture.Â
Beginning January 29th, the group will meet biweekly on Mondays for five meetings. Free lunch will be provided, so sign-up here before we run out of space! Christian Scholars Forum is a GSA partner group aimed at integrating Christian faith and scholarship and creating an interdisciplinary network of missional Christian scholars. Eligible doctoral students can apply for the Summer Dissertation Fellows program which provides a reserved spot in the week-long intensive Dissertation Writing Lab, a $400 scholarship, and participation in a weekly writing support group throughout the summer. The application deadline is February 16. For more information, see here.
