Intercultural Internship in Memphis
From June 20 – July 25, 2016, Adriana Rodriquez will be serving in an Intercultural Internship endorsed by the Missions Ministry Team (MMT) of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cristo Salva Cumberland Fellowship in Memphis, TN.  And we need your support!
Who is Adriana Rodriguez?
Adriana is a Cumberland Presbyterian college student from Casa de Fe Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Boston, MA. She has served on the denominational Youth Ministry Planning Council for CPYC from 2013-2015.  During the summers of 2014 and 2015, Adriana volunteered at Cristo Salva, a Hispanic New Church Development in Memphis,TN assisting with children’s ministries and interpreting between English and Spanish. 
Why Intercultural Internships?
The intercultural internship is designed as a short-term experience for persons interested in working to develop an intercultural ministry within a cross-cultural church in the USA. 
The person interested in the internship is NOT required to speak the language of the hosting church or ministry. 
The Missions MInistry Team is encouraging all the cross-culture ministries to explore the possibility of starting intercultural ministries in English, where we can reach out and share the good news of Jesus Christ not only to the cross-culture communities but the larger surrounding community as well. 

How can you help us?

Each intern is expected to raise her/his own funding through their home church, presbytery, or donors willing to support them.
The estimated cost of this internship is $2,000.00, which includes transportation, stipend, lodging, meals, and materials.
Adriana is looking for CP brothers and sisters who are willing to financially support her to accomplish the goal to serve at Cristo Salva CP Fellowship during this summer. Will you help?

Notes:
  • Candidates for intercultural internships can be youth, young adults, adults, men, women, ordained minsters, lay persons.
  • Primarily, host churches are within our Cross-Culture Ministries across the USA. There are more than 50 Cross-Culture ministries in the US. ( Latino, Korean, Sudanese, Japanese, Chinese). 
  • East Coast Korean Presbytery and Choctaw Presbyetry are also willing to receive new interns.
