With summer fast approaching and with more members bringing guests to enjoy the pool and hang out at the Ranch House, we kindly ask that you please keep these important rules in mind when checking in your visitors:
Guests visiting the Ranch House must be accompanied by a member. Members must check their guests in at the Front Desk upon entry, fill out appropriate paperwork and pay the applicable guest fee(s), which are charged to the member's account. Members are liable for their guest(s) and any charges they incur.
| | |
|
If you are unable to accompany your guest be sure to give the front desk a call for each day they will be visiting the Ranch House at 970.963.6300.
Members are responsible for the conduct and safety of minor-aged guests who are at the Ranch House, even if the child is old enough to use the facility without adult supervision (12 years old).
Each membership may check in up to 8 guests per day.
The daily guest fee is $9.00 for adults and $7.00 for children. Read more about the guest policy in the Rules and Regulations document by clicking here (pg.4).

| We’re getting ready for this summer’s RVRMA Board of Directors election, an important opportunity for our community to come together and help choose the leaders who will help guide us forward.
Per the RVRMA Bylaws, board members serve three-year terms with no term limits. Each year, a portion of the board positions come up for election. This year, the terms of two dedicated board members, Vice President John Lund and Director Sherry Stripling, will expire. If they choose, John and Sherry may seek re-election by declaring their candidacy, just as any other homeowner can.
Interested in serving your community?
|
|
|
If you're a homeowner who would like to get involved in serving your community and shaping the future of RVR, we encourage you to consider running for a seat on the Board. The deadline to declare your candidacy is Friday, June 6.
A Statement of Interest Application form will be available in next week’s newsletter. Simply fill it out to declare your intent to run.

The deer fencing removal deadline has been extended to Thursday, May 15. You may remove fencing at any time but must have it down and properly stored by the deadline.
To view the Design Review Guidelines on deer fencing click here.

|
|
A kind reminder to RVR residents who are storing their deer fencing for the summer season: please make sure it’s stored out of sight from the street and from your neighbors. Whether that means storing the fencing in your basement, attic, crawl space, or offsite away from RVR, please find a place for the deer fencing that has no visual impact on the RVR community.

Twenty-Second Amendment to the
RVRMA Design Guidelines |
|
|
At the April Board Meeting the RVRMA Board of Directors voted to unanimously approve the Twenty-Second Amendment to the Design Guidelines.
The RVR Design Review Committee at the direction of the RVRMA Executive Board has
established the Twenty-Second Amendment to prioritize fire safety and water conservation, while also removing design restrictions put in place by the original developer. The changes included in the document reflect the Board’s goal to support homeowners in enhancing their properties while preserving the architectural character and visual harmony that define River Valley Ranch.
We would like to thank everyone who provided feedback on the amendment, including architects, builders, and homeowners who generously shared their insights.
