Hello and Happy Summer!

Now that it is officially summer we are hopeful that you have all been able to enjoy some time outdoors, working in your gardens, hiking, golfing, or doing what you enjoy doing in the sunshine. As it has been a long and challenging year, hopefully we can find more fun and joy over these next few months now that the weather is so beautiful.

As you might have already heard, NESA reopened its office and fitness centre on Monday, June 14, 2021. While no in-house programs or activities have been planned during the summer months, we are hopeful to provide members with some special events and fundraising activities during this time. The programming team is already working away at scheduling a fun-filled Fall 2021 season ahead and as you can imagine, there is a lot to figure out when it comes to creating a safe, organized, and enjoyable recreation environment amidst a pandemic! We thank you for your patience and support as we work through these busy times.

Member Readiness to Return to NESA

As member feedback is what drives our programming team to offer you quality and safe programs and activities, we want to hear from you about how you envision your return to NESA to look like in the coming seasons. Lots has changed over the last 16 months and we anticipate some changes to our schedules, activities, and the way we do things. Book Sale - August 11-14, 2021

NESA is pleased to confirm the dates of its next book and fundraiser sale. This four day sale starts on Wednesday, August 11 and goes until Saturday, August 14, 2021. The sale hours of operation are from 9am-3pm. Puzzles, jewelry, and various handmade items will also be for sale during this time so mark these dates down as this is a sale you don't want to miss!

NESA's Online 50/50 - What a success!

Thank you to all members and friends of the North Edmonton Seniors Association for your generosity and support during our first-ever online 50/50 raffle! Lucky winner Barry Batke took home $2435 while NESA received the other half and is thrilled to be able to put this towards our many fundraising initiatives.
