  • Ducks After Dark is screening Five Nights at Freddy’s on Friday, Feb. 2, 8:00–10:30 p.m., in the EMU Redwood Auditorium.

  • Spring 2024 classes are being finalized. You can start planning for your spring schedule on Friday, Feb. 9, using the Schedule Builder in the student menu in DuckWeb.
  • Your spring term registration priority date will be released in DuckWeb on Friday, Feb. 9. Registration will run Feb. 26 through March 6.
  • Winter 2024 undergraduate graduation applications are due Sunday, Feb. 4.
  • Have questions about which classes you should be taking? Meet with an academic advisor.

  • If you forward your UO email to Gmail or Yahoo, changes today, Feb. 1, may cause emails to be lost. The UO strongly recommends you stop forwarding your UO email.
  • On Wednesday, Feb. 14, the UO transitions fully to the new version of Microsoft Teams. You can update now using the toggle switch. Setup takes a few minutes.
  • The UO Service Portal encourages you to be a snob—a data privacy snob, that is. Check out these tips for creating habits that protect your data.

  • Add to your mindfulness practice with a 30-minute meditation session every Tuesday, 4:00–4:30 p.m. in the Duck Nest, 041 EMU.
  • The Basic Needs Program will be hosting drop-in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) application support on Fridays, noon–2:00 p.m. on even weeks beginning Feb. 2 in the ASUO Suite, 004 EMU. Snacks provided!
  • Climb with the Outdoor Program at Elevation Bouldering Gym for BIPOC night on Saturday, Feb. 3, 5:00–7:30 p.m. Transportation, entrance fee, gear, and chalk bags are provided.

Junior Jaida Ross moved to second-best all-time in UO track and field for the shot put last weekend. Her 18.84-meter throw also leads the NCAA and ranks her fifth in the world for 2024.
