Congratulations and welcome to newest faculty member, Dr. Lauren Peetluk!!


We are pleased to announce that Dr. Lauren Peetluk has joined the Department of Infectious Diseases as an Instructor in Medicine!

Dr. Peetluk received her Ph.D. in epidemiology at Vanderbilt University in May of 2021. Her research focuses on understanding the drivers of unfavorable tuberculosis treatment outcomes, including developing prediction models for tuberculosis treatment outcomes and applying causal inference methods to examine the impact of clinical characteristics on end of treatment outcomes. Generally, she enjoys using epidemiologic methods to address challenging research questions in observational studies of infectious diseases, primarily tuberculosis and HIV.  Dr. Peetluk has experience with protocol development, literature review, study design, participant enrollment, data analysis, and manuscript writing.
