2018 Alumni Awards Ceremony: October 5th

An Academy Award Nominated Producer, the leader of the Apple Lisa project (forerunner to the Macintosh), a UC Regent Emeritus, a successful businesswoman with a devotion to environmental and international educational causes, and a pioneer in the use of philanthropy to solve critical health needs of women and families.

This October, these five individuals will be celebrated for their impact on UC Santa Barbara and greater society. The UC Santa Barbara Alumni Awards Dinner promises to be a memorable evening.

20th Anniversary of St George Youth Center in Isla Vista

From various community involvements such as The Isla Vista Community Network Leadership Committee, to Proyecto Heroes Advisory Board and Leadership Council, Leonor Reyes '02 has demonstrated to be an exceptional UC Santa Barbara alumna. Her passion and commitment can most notably be recognized through her role as Executive Program Director for St. George Youth Center in Isla Vista, a valuable program that has grown from a double wide trailer to a now fully functional community building.
