Dear Faculty, Administrators and Staff,
This past week has been especially significant for our University. Together, we marked several important milestones that reflect our shared vision for the future. We took an important step forward with the launch of our new Strategic Plan and the launch of our public campaign – two initiatives that will shape the trajectory of the University for years to come. Both were central topics at the annual Board of Regents retreat, where Trustees, Regents and administrators gathered in thoughtful conversation about our mission, aspirations and path ahead.
In addition, we opened a special installation at Walsh Gallery, How Did Mother Seton Become a Saint?, honoring the 50th anniversary of the canonization of Elizabeth Ann Seton, the first American saint and the University’s namesake. This exhibition, generously supported by the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, invites our community to reflect on the enduring faith and mission that continue to guide Seton Hall.
As we look to the future, I encourage you to take inspiration from Mother Seton’s legacy of faith, courage and service, as we boldly advance our collective vision for Seton Hall – together.
