I can't believe it's already March! Chippewa County did a great job at the 2025 Tri-County Performing Arts Festival. It was a fantastic chance for everyone to develop their leadership skills. If you want to learn more or get involved, contact Jordan. We have many exciting programs coming up, so make sure to check out the Chatter, our website, and our Facebook page for more details.
As we approach April, please note that I will be out of the office from April 2nd-9th, April 21st-25th, and April 28th-30th. I will be accessible via email and cell phone during this time as I attend several Professional Development Experiences.

The moment we've all been waiting for is here—Summer Camp registration is now open! We're thrilled to share this year's offerings:
June 22nd-23rd, 2025: One-Night Camp (3rd Grade)
June 23rd, 2025: Day Camp (Kindergarten-3rd Grade)
June 23rd-26th, 2025: Three-Night Base Camp (3rd-8th Grade)
Grades are based on enrollment as of October 2024. Don't miss out on the fun! Camp takes place at the beautiful Wisconsin Farmers Union Wisconsin Kamp Kenwood located on Lake Wissota.

From July 22-24, embark on an unforgettable adventure as we Discover Wisconsin with trips to Duluth and Superior! Registration opens on April 1st, via 4-H Online. Explore the stunning North Shore Scenic Drive, marvel at the historic Aerial Lift Bridge, and visit the beautiful Glensheen Mansion in Duluth.

Chippewa County Calf Loan
|
The Chippewa County Holstein Breeders Association is again sponsoring a dairy animal project in Chippewa County. The purpose of this project is to provide youth with the opportunity of raising and possibly owning desirable registered foundation Holstein animals.
Enclosed are materials explaining the operational procedures of the project and an application form. If you are interested in this project, please complete the application form and return it to the Extension Office.
Please note that the deadline for reception of the completed application is March 21st, 2025. The age requirements refer to January 1, 2025.

The Chippewa, Dunn, and Eau Claire County 4-H Programs are hosting Clover University on Saturday, April 12th, at Elk Mound High School (405 University St, Elk Mound, WI 54739) from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This project learning day offers youth in grades 6 and up the chance to participate in two sessions to master their interests and skills. The cost is $15.
Please make checks payable to the Chippewa County Treasurer by March 31st.

4-H & UW Stout Robotics Day
|
On April 26th from 9:45am to 2pm, enjoy an exciting day of hands-on STEM exploration at UW-Stout's Vocational Rehabilitation Building in Menomonie, WI. This free event, thanks to an Xcel Energy Foundation Award, is open to youth in grades 6 and up. Participants will have the opportunity to build and code a robot, design custom parts with 3D printing, and explore state-of-the-art engineering labs. Lunch is included, and you'll get to learn about UW-Stout’s STEM opportunities while networking with peers. Register by April 10th to secure your spot at go.wisc.edu/4etnr5!
