Welcome      Grow       Serve      Celebrate

"I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink"
Matthew 25:35b
We invite you to bring bottled or gallon jug water with you to church throughout the month of September as you are able. We are working with the MS Annual Conference on distribution sites as well as some long range planning. Our communion offering for the month of September will go toward meeting needs as the water crisis continues.

Wednesday Night 10 Week Re:Treat Begins Tonight!

A few reminders as we gather.  We want everyone to continue to stay safe and keep the germ spread to a minimum. We will have servers to prepare plates for our children and adults and we ask that you sanitize your hands as you enter and as you leave.  To-go plates will be made at 6:30 after everyone has been served.

We hope this is a time of fellowship and hospitality for all so look around for new faces, learn a name, and lend a hand to one another. We will require an RSVP by the Sunday before so that we may be good stewards of our resources.  You may RSVP via the bulletin on Sunday, by calling the church office, or via the newsletter each week (remember the newsletter RSVP will be a week ahead, not the day of). To RSVP for Wednesday, September 14, click here.

Big House Books doesn’t judge a book by its cover. We believe in literacy for all – including those in our correctional facilities. That’s why we’ve set out to provide books to Mississippians in prisons and juvenile detention centers. Every person has the right to educate themselves, and it’s our goal to make that a reality.
