A huge thank you to our teachers, staff, and families for making the return to school a success. Your support and dedication set the foundation for an incredible year ahead.

The 2025–26 school year is off to a strong start! On August 14, Eagles across all 26 campuses returned for a first day full of energy, smiles, and new beginnings. 

This year, 42% of our campuses earned an “A” or “B” rating from the Texas Education Agency. Several campuses also earned TEA award distinctions in all seven categories—a remarkable achievement.

Many campuses also showed double-digit gains in their accountability scores, reflecting the dedication of our students, teachers, staff, and families.

This summer, five ILTexas high schools were named Naval Honor Schools, placing them among the top MCJROTC programs in the nation. Aggieland High School also received the Marine Corps Reserve Association’s Outstanding Unit Award, recognizing them as the #1 school in their category nationwide.

Now that the school year is in full swing, it’s the perfect time to recognize the Eagles who go above and beyond.

Whether it’s a teacher, staff member, student, or volunteer, please help us celebrate those showing true Servant Leadership.

All ILTexas campuses and offices will be closed on Monday, September 1 for the Labor Day holiday, with classes resuming on Tuesday, September 2.

We’re also preparing to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15. Stay tuned for events and highlights across our campuses as we honor the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of our Hispanic and Latino communities.
