| Welcome Grow Serve Celebrate

Parkway Hills has six college students serving as camp counselors this summer (that we know of!). We are proud of the ways these young people are reaching out to serve and be a part of ministry in other locations, and we give thanks for the formation they were given at Parkway Hills. Our work matters! Please hold them in prayer, and if you want to send them a note of encouragement, you can drop a card off at the office by Sunday, June 8 and we will add it to a Parkway Hills package, or feel free to send your own mailing if you so choose.

Help Us Wash CoatsIt's that time of year again, end of school with left-behind coats. Jan Brister has collected three large bags of coats that children left unclaimed at her elementary school. The coats need to be washed first, and then we'll give them to children in need of coats for next winter. If you can take a bag to wash, stop by the office, ask Linda for a bag, and leave your name and the size of coats (written on the bag) that you take.

Day of Service Saturday, June 14
Serve is one of the core values of Parkway Hills, and we begin every worship by claiming we are a mission-minded congregation. We do a great job living into this vision with our various ministries. Saturday, June 14, we will offer a Church-Wide Day of Service, giving everyone another opportunity to serve, and we hope you find a way to plug in. The day will focus on ways to serve the church as well as our local community. You may sign up here or via the clipboard in the back of the Worship Center. Opportunities include: Habitat Faith Build (10 volunteers for the morning shift), aiding Pastor Haven with VBS Decorating, Big House Books, and church building and grounds to include cleaning out the basement and cleaning up the firepit area. You will hear a little about each project in worship in the coming weeks.
