We are especially proud that President Clements is a member of our college’s faculty, and his example continues to inspire our community. His passion for student success, his ability to bring the Clemson Family together and his drive to think bigger have strengthened our University in lasting ways. As Clemson begins its transition process, our college remains strong and focused on the work that continues to move the University forward.
Across the college, we are seeing meaningful advances that are shaping the future. Our researchers are pushing the boundaries of advanced materials, artificial intelligence and health.
We are celebrating staff, too. Each year our staff awards luncheon celebrates the dedication of all our staff, whose daily commitment creates best-in-class student experiences and supports faculty success. Their passion strengthens our entire community, and we are deeply grateful.
One of the most exciting developments is the near completion of the Advanced Materials Innovation Complex. AMIC, the University's most technologically advanced building, will help strengthen the advanced materials industry, a cornerstone of the South Carolina economy, by preparing the future workforce and supporting innovation. Faculty and students started to move in this month, and I look forward to telling you more about it in the coming months.
At this special time of year, I want to thank each of you for your support. Your commitment makes our work possible, and your involvement helps us shape the next generation of leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs.
