If you’ve ever walked past the OEL suite on the second floor of Draper while our team is in a meeting, you’ve probably wondered what all the noise and commotion is about. We’re a team for which three things are unmistakably true: first, we really like each other; second, we love working together; and third, we have a lot of fun. Whether we’re cackling over Dr. Flavin’s or Dr. Beaudry’s perfectly tailored gag gift for someone’s birthday, hooting in sheer delight about the latest student who’s won a major fellowship, or doing our darndest not to fall out of our chairs from laughter because a certain scientist in our midst (I won’t name names) has decided to catwalk into our meeting to model the latest OEL swag, we can be a rowdy bunch. I tell anyone who will listen that I get to work with the best team at Baylor. So, this month, in addition to the great announcements and opportunities you’ll find below, we want to peel back the curtain just a bit so you can better get to know this fine group of folks who call the OEL home.
Cheers,
|
