Nature Nurtures: What to Expect

On Sunday, August 31st, take a deep breath and let the world slow down for a few hours. Nature Nurtures is your chance to unplug, move with intention, and connect with yourself. Through this article, we asked one of our hosts, Zoë Kaede Weaver, to describe the event and give us some tips on what to bring...

We were honoured to welcome The Honourable Julie Dabrusin, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, to UBC Botanical Garden, joined by MPs Wade Grant and Jake Sawatzky and their team as they toured the Greenheart Treewalk. Garden Director Dee Ann Benard and Associate Director Douglas Justice shared how UBC Botanical Garden is advancing biodiversity, conservation, and collective action. We look forward to exploring ways we can further support the Minister’s ongoing work and advocacy.
