Fall Ambassador Program

Are you looking to learn more about feminism? Are you looking to practice feminism with the UWM Women's Resource Center? This semester, the WRC invites you to join us for the Ambassador Program, an experience-based learning program that will help students learn more about the nuances of feminist conversations. Participating students will receive training in the WRC's event-coordinating procedures to help us help us plan an event for Sexual Assault Awareness month!

We will meet each Friday at 12pm-1pm from October 12 to November 16. Meetings will be virtual and hosted on Collaborate Ultra. We hope to see you there!

Reproaction is Hiring in Milwaukee!

Reproaction is hiring an Abortion Equity Organizer. This is a full-time exempt position beginning in August, and is made possible through Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Equitable Abortion Access Reproductive Justice grant. While Reproaction is an allvirtual organization, strong preference for this position will be given to candidates who live in or near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. To learn more about this job opening, you can find the job description link here! You will need a cover letter, resume, an original statement detailing your commitment to direct action, abortion access without exeptions and reproductive justice, and three professional references.

I've Posted on Social Media, What Now?

During this time, we at the WRC have seen and shared various resources for organizations across the nation; however, we noticed the lack of information for the Milwaukee area so we created info graphics for you! They include organizations to donate to in the Milwaukee area, resources to expand your knowledge, and action items you can take to continue to fight racism in America. Feel free to tag the WRC @uwmwrc if you post them!
