In 2013, Kathy Hostetter left the News Director chair at Louisville, Kentucky's WAVE-TV and became News Director for Dispatch Broadcasting's NBC affiliate WTHR-TV (Channel 13, Indianapolis). Ms. Hostetter exits WTHR and will become News Director at KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Earlier in her career, Ms. Hostetter also worked in Fort Wayne, as News Director for Channel 33, which was WKJG-TV, but became WISE-TV during her two-and-a-half years overseeing their local news operation from NBC33s West State Boulevard studios.
In April of this year, WTHR anchor Andrea Morehead learned that she had breast cancer. Ms. Morehead recently updated her viewers on that fight and her upcoming return to the anchor desk.
