We kicked off spring with a Capital Raise Bootcamp!

On March 2, the Technology Venture Studio hosted the Capital Raise Bootcamp, giving founders raising capital the chance to dig in to some critical aspects of raising funds. The daylong intensive boot camp ended with a panel of local founders who have successfully raised capital to grow their businesses.

Decreasing hospital stays and increasing survivability of cell transplant patients
Inventors at the University of Missouri have developed a therapeutic to prevent graft-versus-host disease, aka GVHD, that can result from allogenic cell transplants. This treatment is achieved by labeling donor cells with FasL, which causes alloreactive T cells to self-terminate.
