September Monthly Computer Updates

The monthly Windows computer updates are now available in Software Center.
Monthly Mac and Windows updates will automatically install on September 21.

What Windows Updates are Available this Month? |
|

|

- Microsoft Office Updates
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox and Firefox ESR
- Adobe Acrobat and Reader

- Git for Windows
- Notepad++
- WinRAR
- Zoom Workplace

|
|
What Mac Updates will be Installed this Month? |
|
|
|
- Google Chrome
- Mendeley Reference Manager
- Microsoft Edge

|

|
The updates listed above are available for computers with the installed software.
|

|

Windows Updates Available via Software Center

|
| Windows and Mac Updates will Install Automatically
|
- Updates will be installed on all computers between 10:00pm and 5:00am if they have not already been installed.
- Computers may restart, possibly multiple times, to complete the update process.
|
|
|
|
Monthly updates may require your computer to restart, possibly multiple times.
Please save all in-progress work prior to updating.
|

Please leave your computer on in the evening to allow updates to occur.
- If a computer has been shut down the updates will be installed the next time it is turned on.
- All Faculty and Staff with WashU IT managed computers will receive these updates.
- Windows computers can automatically install updates by setting up your business hours.

Stay In Sync is WashU's effort to ensure computers receive all necessary updates, keeping WashU secure and minimizing potential service interruptions.
