This spring semester, New Memphis is offering Accelerate, which is a free, semester-long professional development program designed to help you prepare for success in an internship or job. They’re bringing together a cohort of local undergrads like you to make personal connections in the city while you prepare for your future. On top of that, if you complete the program, you’ll receive a $350 stipend. Yes, $350! The sessions will be held at the University of Memphis in the FedEx Institute of Technology. The Counseling Center at the University of Memphis is a comprehensive agency providing personal/psychological counseling, career counseling and psychological/vocational testing for students. Goals of the center include enhancing the development of the total person, contributing to the educational mission of the University through counseling, service to the campus and community, and services that seek to assist in the retention of students.
