Referral Process

To All Attendings and Residents:  

This is a How-To on the Epic referral process. It will be extremely important to document in the referral that your preference is to refer your patients to a TULANE Physician. There are a couple of ways to do this. 

1. Choose a referring department that is TULANE designated 

2. If you do not see a Tulane department available, please notate in all CAPS “REFER TO TULANE PROVIDER”
