AlleysInAction!, a socially impactful research and community engagement project led by Sue Peerson of the Department of Urban Studies and Planning, will hold an “Art in the Alley” pop-up for local elementary school children in Normal Heights on May 18 from 1-4 p.m. The project, which involves undergraduate students in Peerson's Advanced Urban Design course, breathes new life into local alleys by turning them into vibrant public spaces.
