Hello, SCL colleagues,
We’re almost a month into the semester, and I want to pause to recognize our remarkable Cornell Dining staff and our colleagues across the division who support our work. It has been a pleasure to watch our team coalesce in these first weeks to offer services and create environments that play such an essential role in the student experience. The collaboration we see every day across all areas is an inspiration.
Our Cornell Dining eateries and cafes are more than just places for students to enjoy a delicious meal. They provide community, a place to connect with new and lifelong friends, and a place where our students discover new flavors and approaches to cuisine. Through the commitment and collaborative mindset of our 1,150 staff members (including nearly 500 students!), we are able to offer a wide array of flavorful, healthy, award-winning options each day to meet the needs of not only Cornell students, but our staff, faculty, alumni, and other visitors as well.
Speaking of award-winning, we were delighted to learn that Cornell University campus food received its highest ranking to date from the Princeton Review: #2! The next time you stop by a Cornell Dining eatery or cafe, offer a quick word of congratulations or a simple thank you to our dining staff.
We are proud to collaborate in this effort to inspire transformation and are truly proud to bring our passion and talents to our campus community. Here’s to another fantastic year, SCL.
Best,
Paul Muscente
