Coming up this week at the Student Accessibility and Academic Resources (StAAR) Center:

- Wednesday, February 18, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in TTC Room 357: Writing the Introduction Section of a Scientific Paper or Thesis – This workshop is designed for advanced science writers and senior thesis writers in the sciences.
- Friday, February 20, at 12:15–1:15 p.m. in Dowling Hall Milmore Room: StAAR and CMHS: Self Talk – This workshop will introduce ways to reframe, challenge, and notice unhelpful thoughts that affect your day-to-day life.
- Saturday, February 21, at 10 a.m.–1 p.m. in Tisch Library Austin Conference Room: Senior Writers Accountability Group Write-In – Senior thesis and capstone writers, join us for a session dedicated to working on your thesis! Together we will plan and set goals, then spend time writing together in solidarity.

20th Annual Engineering Student-Alumni Networking Night |
The 20th Annual Tufts Engineering Student-Alumni Networking Night will take place on Wednesday, February 18, at 6–8 p.m. in 51 Winthrop St. (Breed Memorial Hall). This opportunity is designed to allow students to practice their professional networking skills and meet with alumni to hear about their career paths and life after Tufts. Students from all classes and majors are invited to attend. Light dinner and celebratory cake will be provided.

| Law & Order 2.0: Career Trek to Suffolk Superior Court |
We're heading back to court—this time to Suffolk Superior Court for a day of court watching. We'll hear bail arguments, pre-trial motions, and hopefully part of an evidentiary hearing or trial. The courthouse is T-accessible at Government Center behind One Center Plaza. Please cover your own transportation. Meet on Thursday, February 19, at 9 a.m. just past security. Lunch is provided by the Tufts Lawyers Association.

AI and Recruitment Panel with Wayfair, Formlabs, and JobScan |
Tufts is excited to host panelists from Wayfair, Formlabs, and JobScan on Friday, February 20, at 1–2 p.m. in Aidekman Arts Center Alumnae Lounge. Representatives will share insider insights on how artificial intelligence (AI) is used in their recruitment processes and how AI can be leveraged to support the early career job search process, as well as which pitfalls to avoid when using AI.

Sign up for a free, four-week Introduction to Mindfulness class through Student Life, taught by certified mindfulness instructors. Classes are held at Tisch Library on Sundays, starting today. (See the sign-up link for specific times.) Students who complete the course report better sleep, less stress, less self-judgment, and greater mindfulness and focus. Event Funding Available for Global Tufts Month |
March is Global Tufts Month, a university-wide celebration dedicated to exploring Global Perspectives on Climate Change. Across Tufts, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and partners are working to tackle the climate crisis, understand its impact on communities near and far, and develop solutions that make a difference. Events throughout March will showcase inspiring work across fields such as energy, technology, health, politics, culture, and the arts. Apply for funding to host your event!
