Alumna returns to campus as ACE fellow to learn from university leaders

In 2008, Mary “MJ” McConner was a GVSU student studying to be a psychologist. Then an internship set her on a new path, and she has worked in higher education ever since. Now, 14 years later, MJ is back on campus learning from President Mantella and other leaders.

GVSU earns federal grant to establish TRIO program in Detroit


The $1.4 million grant will establish a TRIO program in Detroit to create a college-going culture for students who would be the first in their families to attend college.
