The Trove – A New Campus Hub for Enhanced Mail and Package Services
Integrated Procure-to-Pay Solutions (IPPS), in partnership with Housing Dining Hospitality (HDH), is pleased to announce the grand opening of The Trove, a new campus hub featuring enhanced mail and package services. Located in front of Geisel Library on the northeast corner of Library Walk, The Trove offers greater access to a wealth of services for students, faculty, staff and the broader community.
The Trove is home to one of several student parcel centers on campus. The university is piloting 229 smart lockers at this location, where student residents who pick up their packages at The Trove are among the first to experience contactless package pickup from a student parcel center. The smart locker system is part of a broader strategy to implement advanced technology, increased safety and expanded service levels to students. In partnership with HDH, IPPS is evaluating how smart locker technology can be applied beyond package pick up, to expand service levels in other areas across campus.
On June 7, the Mailing Center will move from the Campus Services Complex to The Trove where it will share space and resources with Student Mail. Relocating the Mailing Center will bring personal shipping and mailing services to the broader community at a more convenient location and expand service offerings at The Trove to include:
Discounted UPS and FedEx shipping rates
Prepaid drop-off bins
24/7 Private Mail Box (PMB) access
Clients will have two campus locations to choose from when renting a PMB; Price Center shuttle stop or Campus Services Complex. Both locations offer 24/7 access.
