7 WINS IN APRIL FOR RED HOT LRF
Very appreciative is the only way to describe it.
LRF won seven allowance and stakes races in April - a company record. In fact, not only did LRF end the Santa Anita Winter Meet 4th in wins and 8th in purse earnings among over 1,000 owners; LRF now sits on top of the leaderboard of the new Santa Anita Spring meet with two wins and almost $100,000 in earnings.
"Our partners make up some of the best owners in California," said LRF Managing Partner Billy Koch. "And we take a lot of pride buying them top quality thoroughbreds. Every month doesn't look like this, but it sure feels good when it does."
LRF was led by Sheer Pleasure's win in the $200,000 Evening Jewel Stakes (VIDEO) and Midnight Storm's (pictured) U.S. turf best 105 Beyer rating in his 2015 debut (VIDEO), the barn notched seven wins from six different horses including; Chati's On Top, Rocko's Wheel, Midnight Miley, and Bobby Z Man (2).
Congratulations to all of the LRF partners for an unprecedented month of success.
7TH ANNUAL KY DERBY CONTEST
Are you ready to win a free share of an LRF race horse?
The Little Red Feather Racing Club invites you to participate in our 7th annual Run for the Roses "Win a Free Share of an LRF Race Horse" Kentucky Derby contest.

To win the grand prize - a piece of LRF's newest two-year-old filly, RiRi - simply select the winner of the 2015 Kentucky Derby and the exact margin of victory. For example last year four people Diane Johnson, Jack Tinsley, Regina Ahlmann and Gerlad Montegomery selected California Chrome and 1.75 lengths (Diane won the shake and the Grand Prize!).
LRF BLOG: THE TRUTH ABOUT MARKUPS
Nobody likes “markups”… especially in the world of thoroughbred horse racing. As the saying goes, “How can you charge X, when you just purchased the horse for Y last week?” In pure economic terms, I’m sure all of you recognize there is a markup in everything we purchase - from the shirt on your back, to a new plasma television, to the cost of having a pizza delivered. Ultimately, it is you, the consumer's choice if the value added from the company you purchase your goods and services from is worth the price you pay.
MAY FLOWERS?
As many of you now, when you win an allowance race, the stakes only get higher.  Literally!
On Saturday May 23, 2015, LRF will send out a record three horses in three separate stakes races on California Gold Rush day day at Santa Anita.
Sheer Pleasure (pictured) will run in the in the $200,000 Melair Stakes. Rocko's Wheel will take on three year old foes in the $200,000 Snow Chief Stakes, and Chati's On Top will tackle older fillies and mares in the $125,000 Frans Valentine Stakes.
May will be an exciting month for LRF and its partners. If you would like to join LRF at the races this spring or find out more about joining the LRF Racing Club, please contact us.
