New down payment assistance program available to home buyers. Kosciusko County partnered with the Housing Resource Hub and the Club 720 mobile app to help deliver this program to home buyers. The Community Foundation funded $25,000 toward the development of Club 720 as part of its Working Together initiative.

$200,000 in Sustainability Grants awarded to local nonprofits. Funded by the Community Foundation, K21 Health Foundation, and the Dekko Foundation, this one-time award helped 20 local nonprofits invest in their long-term sustainability.
|
|
Community Foundation offers Go Forward! funding for local towns. We want to enable communities to act on the strategies in their newly-adopted FORWARD Kosciusko County plans! Selected recipients may receive a one-time grant of up to $20,000. Applications are due January 17, 2023.

2022 Year-In-Review: The Annual Celebration

In November, we celebrated our 2021-22 fiscal year! Here are a few top takeaways:
- Due to the generosity of local donors, the Foundation awarded $3.9 million in charitable grants.
-
Nearly $702,000 in scholarships were awarded to 184 local students for college, university or vocational training.
- Donors gave nearly $5.6 million and created 29 new funds at the Community Foundation.

Did you know that the Community Foundation has more than 115 scholarship funds? Each year, we award more than $600,000 from those funds! Both traditional and non-traditional students are welcome to apply for scholarships to cover tuition, books and academic fees. Most of these scholarship funds require residency in Kosciusko County, Ind., or attendance at a high school serving Kosciusko County in order to be eligible.
