Buffalo River Paddle: TSRA to the Rescue!

Our TSRA group of paddlers joined together for a weekend of fun on the Buffalo River.  Little did they know that their experience, safety training, and equipment would be needed on their trip.  Read more about this river rescue story - A story that shows being prepared for the worst is most important!
This situation could have ended rather badly for a young couple if not for our group.

An entry-level safety and rescue class for kayakers and canoeists who plan on paddling flat water lakes and slow moving rivers such as the Caney Fork, Cumberland, Harpeth, Piney or Stones Rivers.

A 1-day course to introduce new paddlers to the fun world of kayaking and canoeing. 
In Session #1 our 1st graduating class earned their ducks after surviving the obstacle course and fun instruction. We had several first timers and one who overcame a fear of the water.  Great Job everyone!
