Teachers Elaine Clarke & Elizabeth Vecchio of IAM YOGA in partnership with Rainforest Reef Escape invite you on this enchanting creative retreat. We have put together a unique escape that features daily yoga practice + creative classes that promote playfulness and empowerment with both Elaine and Elizabeth combined with an array of activities that will introduce you to the amazing beauty of the tropical forest and the true meaning of what Costa Ricans call Pura Vida (Pure Life). 

AN ACTIVE & ENERGIZING GETAWAY

Your adventure starts in the capital city of San José where you will spend your first night in a lovely boutique hotel. The next morning follow the group on a scenic domestic flight to the Osa Peninsula. Soar into the most majestic part of the country and let your exciting retreat begin!

Included in your retreat package are daily yoga sessions, creative classes to transform and empower, as well as a host of additional activities with Elaine & Elizabeth designed to be an immersion of YOU. 

On top of the many fun activities you'll enjoy with our guest teachers, you'll also get to hike local trails to discover abundant wildlife and incredible scenery. Perhaps you'll also want to lounge around or try one of our exciting optional tours from surfing, to waterfall rappelling, to zip lining through the jungle canopy, and our favourite, a fun boat tour on the Golfo Dulce to spot wild dolphins! This tour is on us if you join early! 

YOUR ACCOMMODATION & FOOD

At the foot of the majestic Corcovado National Park is Cabo Matapalo, a small beach community perfectly nestled between the warm Pacific Ocean and the dense tropical rainforest. Find yourself in a naturally created corridor where the density of animals is greater than anywhere else in the country.  You will be staying at Ojo Del Mar, a lovely relaxed beachfront ecolodge with impressive views of the ocean and lush primary rainforest. You'll have your own comfy bed within one of our spacious shared cabanas or ask for a private beach nest if available. Wake up to the sound of howler monkeys in the distance and exotic birds showing off their bright colours while flying overhead. Everywhere you’ll look, you’ll see abundant wildlife and incredible scenery. 

Enjoy delicious exotic fruits, freshly picked vegetables and locally inspired foods from Costa Rica. Meals are served buffet-style accompanied by freshly squeezed juices at breakfast, as well as tea and locally grown coffee.
