How to Access the New Loan Commitment System
All Minnesota Housing homeownership, Fix Up and Rehabilitation and Emergency/Accessibility loans committed on or after April 22, 2019 should use the new Loan Commitment System. 
User Names and Passwords
If you require access to the Loan Commitment System, your web administrator will provide you with your user name and initial password. You will change your password and create a security question when you log in for the first time.
If you have questions about your permissions, contact your web administrator. If you do not know your web administrator, please contact us at 800.710.8871 or mnhousing.solution@state.mn.us.
Login Page
Visit mnhousing.gov/login and click Loan Commitment System under Single Family Applications. 
It is only compatible with Internet Explorer. Do not use Google Chrome or Firefox or other browsers.
Existing Loans
Use the old Loan Commitment System (HDS) to close and fund approve loans committed in that system before April 22. All new loans will be committed in the new system.

Reminder: Important Document Changes and Mortgage Revenue Bond (MRB) Updates
Loans locked in the new loan commitment system (on or after April 22) must use new documents. Loans locked in the current system (prior to April 22) may use new or old documents.
Homeownership Lenders
  • NEW Mortgage Revenue Bond Document
    • RD/Conventional Notice to Borrowers (for Start Up RD/Conventional loans)
  • Combined FHA/VA Notice to Borrowers (Start Up MRB form for FHA/VA)
  • Updated Borrower Affidavit (Start Up MRB form)
  • Updated Notes and Mortgages for Monthly Payment Loan and Deferred Payment Loan
  • Updated versions of the Lock, Fee & SRP Guide and the Start Up and Step Up Procedural Manuals
  • New Forms Guide and Glossary with a list of required documents and links to samples rather than fillable versions (new and old versions of the Forms Guide and Glossary will be posted in the Lender Toolkit)
Home Improvement Lenders
  • Updated Notes, Rate Lock Guide and Procedural Manual
  • No longer use Minnesota Housing Fix Up Credit Application
  • No longer submit Fix Up Lender Certificate to AmeriNat
  • New Forms Guide and Glossary with a list of required documents and links to samples rather than fillable versions
Rehabilitation Loan Program and Emergency and Accessibility Loan Program Lenders
  • New Forms Guide and Glossary shows list of required documents for both RLP and ELP
  • Closing documents will be generated in the loan commitment system
How You'll Access Documents
There are three ways to access new loan documents starting April 22. Please work with your company to find out which option you will use: 
  • Order Documents function through the Loan Commitment System, which will create a document package for each loan with most fields pre-populated
  • Document management companies
  • Your company’s loan origination system (via subscription option)
