Inclusion, Diversity, Belonging, Equity, and Access @ Wagner // November 2024

This month, we honor Native American Heritage Month, a time to pay tribute to the rich ancestry, history, and traditions of Native Americans in the U.S. We also observe Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20, a day dedicated to honoring the lives of transgender individuals lost to violence and transphobia.

FIRST GENERATION STUDENT ASSOCIATION (FGSA)

The First-Generation Student Association (FGSA) at New York University's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service is a student organization dedicated to enriching the Wagner experience of students who are first in their families to complete graduate school in the United States. FGSA achieves this through connecting First-Gen students to each other and administration for partnership in opportunities to improve academic and professional achievement of First-Gen students. FGSA will foster an environment that will uphold values of respect, community, empowerment, and mentorship.

Membership is open to the entire NYU and Wagner community, and events are open to those interested in issue relating to supporting First-Gen students. Complete the FGSA interest form to share your ideas.
