This session describes the ways students may gain practical teaching experience, as an Instructional Apprentice, under the mentorship of a Biology course instructor.  An overview of the application process, a faculty member’s viewpoint on the experience, and a student’s perspective on participation will be shared. Open to students interested in practical teaching experience at the collegiate level.

The Division of Biological Sciences offers a contiguous program leading to a Master of Science Degree in Biology for current UCSD undergraduate students who are enrolled in any of the 8 Biology majors.

ONLY open to current biology majors.

The San Diego State University Minority Health and Health Disparities International Research Training program is now recruiting undergraduate students from all campuses for the summer 2017 PAID research training sites. Conduct basic-science, biomedical, and public health research in one of three different countries: Peru, Taiwan, or Uganda.
