Hello Student Leaders!

With the semester in full swing, we wanted to send along a few important mid-semester updates and reminders!

Student Organization Awards
Nominations for the annual Student Organization Awards are due April 3rd at 11:59pm. The annual Student Organization Awards Ceremony will be hosted in Alumnae Lounge on April 26th at 12pm.

Student Leadership Gala hosted by TCU Senate
As a celebration of student leadership, Tufts Community Union Senate will be hosting a Student Leadership Gala on April 2nd, 2023 in the Joyce Cummings Center ballroom. This event aims to bring student leaders together from across campus and celebrate all they have done to build community for others. Leadership award winners will be announced at the event. Given space limitations, one student representative from every student organization will be able to attend. The JumboLife contacts for each student organization should receive an invitation this week with a form to denote the name of the student who be in attendance. Last Day to Host Events
The final day for student organizations to host events or meetings is the last day of classes, May 1. Student organizations are not permitted to host any events, in-person or remote, during reading days or final exams. Programming during Senior Week is only permitted for the Tufts University Social Collective.

Last Day to Reserve Space & Make Purchases
All student organization space reservations in ReserveTufts need to be placed prior to 4pm on April 14th. Student organizations will lose access to the system after this deadline.

TCU Treasury purchases for end of semester events must be made by April 14th.

Introduce Your Org to Admitted Jumbos
Hoping to attract admitted Jumbos to your club and share your message to a new generation of members? Join the Undergraduate Admissions Office in welcoming admitted students on Jumbo Days in April! Sign up to table during our community fair and be the first to meet the class of 2027. Sign up with the link below by Friday, March 17th. If you have any questions, please email Njeri Allen.

Leadership Transition Workshop
Tue, April 18th | 6:30pm | Barnum LL08
A comprehensive leadership transition is one of the best ways to set your organization up for success in the future! Join OCL for some tips and tricks on effective leadership transition, archiving organizational wisdom and history, and creating a transition framework for your org to use in the future. In addition to receiving resources, student leaders will have time and space to begin writing up and compiling transition materials, leaving the workshop with tangible tools!
