Parent & Family Orientation |
Each month this summer, there will be important items your student needs to complete to ensure they are prepared for their time at WashU. Some items on the May checklist include:
-
Students must submit their housing application.
-
Adjustments to the application can be made by students until May 15.
- Students must activate their WashU email account.
- Students must have their high school submit final transcripts.
All first-year students are required to live in our residence halls.
As a reminder, the last day that your student can apply for housing and select a meal plan or submit changes to their application is May 15. Have your student contact Residential Life or call 314-935-5050 with any questions about housing.

Communication from academic divisions |
Have your student check their WashU email account several times a week for important messages from their academic division. They will receive details about course registration and how to connect with their academic advisor. They also may be asked to complete important forms.
