SIDEWALKS ON DICKERSON PIKE!

883 feet from Dellway Drive to Gordon Terrace
Over the past several months, the Public Works Department has spent considerable time working with various Metro departments to develop a list of sidewalk projects for the 2016-2017 Fiscal Year.

Our focus and priority was linking these projects to transit, schools, libraries, parks, and other pedestrian generators.

  • The sidewalk extension promised and planned on Maplewood Trace from Maplewood High all the way to Dickerson Pike is in the design phase.
  • The street light at Broadmoor Dr and Walton Lane is in the design phase.
  • Stop sign approved at Diane Court and Diane Drive in Madison.
  • Preliminary request in for a review to place a stop light at Briarville Road and Cheron with yellow flashers on Ellington Parkway at the approach.
