Welcome back! The Office for Campus Life is excited to once agin offer a variety of virtual trainings to assist new and returning leaders as they plan for the upcoming semester. Each session will last approximately 30 minutes and is open to any member or officer of any student organization. Sessions will also be listed on JumboLife. Booking OCL Event Staff
Are you looking to host an event on campus and want some extra help in staffing your event? This training will help you and your organization learn more about booking the Office for Campus Life (OCL) student event staff as a resource for your events. You will learn about the functions OCL Event Staff can perform and the pricing that follows certain services, as well as which event types are best suited for the usage of OCL Event Staff.

Planning a Social Event
Whether you are a new student organization, new student leader, or just looking for a refresher on how to host an event on campus, this training provides everything you need to know about planning a social event. Everything from brainstorming ideas to submitting JumboLife Event Registration Forms. There are multiple steps that need to be followed and completed when planning an event, and this training is here to answer any questions and relieve any stress from the planning process and make you feel more confident in hosting and planning events on campus.

ReserveTufts
Looking to book a room for your event on campus, but don’t know how and where to start. This training will take you through the ReserveTufts platform and take you through all the best spaces for hosting events on campus. Reserving a space is the first step in the planning an event process, so this training is great for those who want to learn more about the spaces around campus and how to successfully acquire a room for their organization's event.

Tufts Catering
Looking to host an event with food, on campus? This training is all about utilizing Tufts Catering as a resource for all your food and refreshment needs at your hosted events. This training will take you through the Tufts Catering website, menus, and how to place an order. As the COVID policies shift, ordering food through Tufts Catering will be the best option in having food at your events and this training will help you better understand the changing policies and process in ordering food for your events.

TuftsTickets
Are you hosting an event on campus and want to sell tickets? TuftsTickets is the resource on campus for your organization to use if you wish to sell tickets for an event. TuftsTickets can be used for multiple event types and purposes, other than just raising funds for your event. This training will take you through the ways in which your groups can utilize TuftsTickets, the pricing that follows certain services, and how you go about requesting these services for your events.

Financial Stewardship Traning
Meredith Prunier from Tufts Audit & Management Advisory Services will give organization leaders the skills to effectively manage an organization’s budgetary operations and discuss best practices to protect budgets and ensure funding goals. This session will last approximately one hour.
