The Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) of Memphis is an organization made by the student body of the University of Memphis to celebrate Vietnamese heritage and to educate others about Vietnamese culture, traditions, and social/political issues. The organization also serves as a nexus for students of Vietnamese descent, who may not be accustomed to the American life style, to get in touch with other organizations and campus functions, encouraging them to follow their personal pursuits. We are constantly striving towards diversity, meaning that you do not have to be Vietnamese to join; a simple interest in the culture, a desire to learn new things, seeking new friends, wanting to have fun, or gaining professional development is enough to join.

Are  you aware that approximately 1,095 Tennesseans die by suicide each year? Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States. It is important to know the warning signs of suicide and to know how to best handle a situation when you are concerned about a person. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to attend!

Join us as we meet Denys Cowan, the founder of Milestone Media, senior vice president of BET, and animator/illustrator of credits such as Black Racer, Deathstroke, Black Lighting and Hong Kong Phooey, Batman: Lovers and Madmen, Blind Justice, Black Panther: Flags of our Fathers, The Question, Hardware, and Static. Most well known is his animated series Static Shock.

Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity Balanced Man Scholarship

Sigma Phi Epsilon is proudly offering the Balanced Man Scholarship to University of Memphis students. The scholarship will be awarded to motivated and driven individuals who have demonstrated success in academics, athletics, and community involvement.
