With tryouts behind us we are thrilled to kick off a new season! We know how stressful this time of year can be for players (and parents) our goal for tryouts was to make the process as transparent as possible - did you see the updated handouts per age group that included pathway information, costs for program and leagues? We hope our parent meetings got you EXCITED to join (or rejoin!) our Surf family and you are as excited as we are to kick off our 2020/21 season with all our youngest Surf players!

We are truly proud to have been selected by US Soccer to field both our boys’ and girls’ teams at the event alongside Real So Cal. LAFC and Pateadores will also compete on the boys’ side, while LA Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes round out the girls’ participants.

Bio-banding allows players to be grouped based on their individual maturity and biological age rather than chronological age alone. This is a US Soccer initiative to further support player development as the high performance department expands.
