The Studios at MASS MoCA is hosting its eighth residency of artists. Three of the 11 artists are part of a pilot program, Iris Residency, in partnership with the Berkshire Immigrant Center to support immigrant, refugee, or first- or second-generation American artists. Tapestry, the Carole King Songbook, featuring Suzanne O. Davis, is the premier musical tribute to Carole King. This show recreates the sound and vibe of a 1970s Carole King concert experience following her legendary album, Tapestry. The performance also will bring to life hits from the Broadway musical, Beautiful. More info

Berkshires Jazz, Inc. has commissioned ten original compositions from jazz artists in the Northeast. The works make their world premieres at the Berkshire Museum, in conjunction with Pittsfield’s 10x10 Upstreet Arts Festival. The show's host will be Tom Reney, the dean of New England jazz radio (WFCR/Northeast Public Media). More info

Theater, video, and installation pioneer Andrew Schneider presents an immersive experience at the '62 Center. Visitors are invited to explore a warehouse-sized room that will ultimately be filled with over 5,000 points of light. The technology behind this project allows us to pinpoint every star and place a voice, a memory, a fleeting whisper at each location. More info

Come to the front lawn of The Stockbridge Library, Museum & Archives to view sculptors transform solid blocks of ice into magnificent sculptures. The Stockbridge Ice Festival will include an outdoor museum exhibit of historical ice harvesting tools. Dennis Picard also will discuss the history and process of ice harvesting for commercial trade.
