Inclusion, Diversity, Belonging, Equity, and Access @ Wagner // October 2023
| |
November is Native American Heritage Month, paying tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans in the U.S. It is also worth noting that NYU has recently announced it will be creating a Center for Indigenous Studies.
In addition, November 20 marks the Transgender Day of Remembrance, which acknowledges and remembers the dozens of transgender people who are killed each year due to transphobia.
If you are someone you know from the Wagner community is making an impact in the areas of IDBEA, we would love to hear from you and showcase your efforts in this newsletter. Email wagner.activities@nyu.edu to share your story.
