NEW WineRoad.com

Check it out! We launched the new site on Valentine's Day. So far all seems to be working correctly. We will continue to add "Day Trips" and more "Experiences". Please let us know if you see any errors or information that needs editing. This is a HUGE site. Lots of moving parts!
The goal was to focus on what guests want from us: itinerary ideas, what's new, maps, and events. We tried to showcase that we have something for everyone, from the repeat experienced taster, to those new to wine.

Please share this link for tickets.

We have sold about 5000 tickets. The goal is 10,000 in advance and 2000 at the door. Very slow going at this point.
Debbie has sent you details to share on social. It's time for a team effort.
Advance Ticket Sales End on Monday, Feb. 25. Supply hand-out is next Wednesday, Feb. 27th.

Wine Library, Next Event...

February 26th an evening with Sonoma County Wine Legends: Ana Keller, David Ramey, David Stare, Bob Cabral and Richard Arrowood.

New to the team

Cassidy Jourdan had been working a few hours a week for us for the past couple of months, interning. A NYU grad, Cassidy spent a few years working in New York, then chose to move back to Healdsburg. We're happy to say she has accepted the position as our Office Manager.  Her prior experience working with partnerships will help Wine Road as we navigate that new territory. Many of you have met Cassidy during our last two event supply days. She will be your contact for website questions.  Cassidy@wineroad.com

A Wine & Food Affair...

Just an FYI. We have had 2 task force meetings to discuss ways to expand our Wine & Food Affair weekend, bring in new guests and engage with more of our winery members. We are looking at partnering with local restaurants for "event weekend pairing or specials". Along with our "Breakfast with the Winemakers", we are considering hosting some morning cooking classes, and promoting winemaker dinners leading up to the weekend, along with several other ideas. We want to see this event incorporate all of our area chefs, producers, and farmers alongside our winemakers. The goal will be to showcase the bounty of Sonoma County, having the harvest in Sonoma County culminate with our event weekend. Look for details to follow in the next couple of months.
May 22nd, 8:00 - 5:00 Wine Industry Network brings you the 3-Tier Wine Symposium a one-day conference focused on helping wine industry executives and owners navigate the complicated, but necessary, world of distributor relationships. The symposium, featuring experts from all facets of the three-tier system, is designed to help attendees glean new insights into opportunities the wholesale channel presents. Panelists and presenters will provide you with the tools and techniques you need to change the way your winery works with your distributor partners to maximize this sales channel and grow your brand.

The day will finish with a 60-minute networking social with wine and light food. The organizer is looking for 5 cases of wine, mixed red and white, to feature at the event. For every case, they will provide a full pass for the day ($595 value) along with listing the donating winery as one of their sponsors. Here’s a link to the site: www.3tierwine.com They expecting a sold-out event. If you are interested in donating contact Samantha Stephey at Samantha@WineIndustryNetwork.com or by phone at 707-433-2557 ext 107 for more information.
