Launched by the Schulich School of Business, a new webinar series Shaping the Future of Business will bring leading practitioners from around the world to engage with the Schulich community on key issues of the day and is organized by Ashwin Joshi, Associate Professor of Marketing; Director, MBA Program.
This first interactive session of the series, Embedding Climate Risk Management into Strategy and Operations: Imperatives, Risks, and Opportunities features Alan Smith, Senior Advisor - Climate and ESG Risk Management, HSBC with moderator Marcia Annisette, Professor of Accounting; Associate Dean, Academic. Schulich's First-Ever Giving Day on November 24 - Save the Date!
Join us for the first-ever Schulich Giving Day on November 24! Alumni from around the world are invited to participate and donate during this exciting 24-hour virtual engagement and philanthropic campaign. Your support on Giving Day will support our students during these challenging and uncertain times. Funds will go directly to the Schulich Student Support Fund ensuring students who face serious financial hardships, as a result of COVID-19, will receive financial support OR the School’s Highest Prioritiesempowering the School to quickly respond to critical needs for new teaching and learning technologies, essential resources for student and alumni entrepreneurs, innovative program development and enhanced experiential learning opportunities. Donations will be matched dollar for dollar thanks to a generous donation from the Katherine Meaney Svec Estate.

Brand Your Awesome Workshop with Alberta Alumni Chapter

On October 20th, the Schulich Alberta Alumni Chapter, in collaboration with the SEEC, presented a virtual personal branding session in response to these unprecedented times. Brand Your Awesome: How to Create a Personal Brand Action Plac for Career Success in Uncertain Times presented by Cher Jones, Corporate Social Media Trainer at Socially Active introduced strategies and practical steps on using social media to build your digital brand and get noticed online. Thank you to our Alumni chapter presidents from Alberta for organizing this timely workshop and a special thank you to our Vancouver chapter presidents for participating and inviting others.
