Featured Events

The Buildings at Tufts – A Campus History from 1852 to Present

Join us on Tuesday, May 2, at 6 p.m. for a photo history of the Tufts campus to see how it has evolved since its creation in 1852 from a lonely Ballou Hall perched atop a grassy hill outside Boston to the sprawling campus you know and love today! You'll get to see images dating back to the 1800s that show cows grazing on today's Ellis Oval and learn about long-forgotten buildings that have come and gone in the past 167 years. Following the presentation, we'll have social hour with appetizers.

The Annual Tisch Community Forum 2023

The Annual Tisch Community Forum is an opportunity to share and learn from a wide range of community
research. A keynote panel will kick off our thinking on "Identity, Impact, and Innovation," followed by concurrent
sessions of research presentations and roundtable discussions. Join us on Wednesday, May 3, at 9:30 a.m. for free food and great conversation.

Edible Plant Tour

Take a break from studying for finals and join us on Wednesday, May 3, at 11 a.m. for an edible plant tour around campus with free Yerba! Emilia Dick Fiora del Fabro, an intern for the Office of Sustainability, will teach us about these plants and how they are involved in community lifestyles. Meet outside Barnum Hall. Space is limited.

Tufts Cherish Chinatown Cleanup

The third annual Tufts Cherish Chinatown Cleanup is taking place on Wednesday, May 10, at 12:30 p.m. at the Jaharis Courtyard (150 Harrison Ave., Boston). Tufts University students, faculty, and staff are invited to join us for an afternoon of trash pickup and beautification projects in the Chinatown neighborhood.

Submit an Event

Students and Student Organizations can submit events to JumboLife! Add your event by Thursday at 12 noon each week, and we'll include it in the Jumbo Digest on Sunday.
